Geopolitical analyst Alfredo Jalife-Rahme warns that the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran is marked by an intense war of narratives and disinformation, where each side disseminates its own version of events. He explains that there is a Western narrative dominated by media outlets linked to intelligence services and a completely opposing one promoted by Iran and its allies, so he recommends analyzing the facts based on "hard data." In this regard, he points to reports indicating attacks against US military bases in the region and damage to strategic infrastructure, which would demonstrate that the conflict is not as quick or simple as some expected.

Jalife also maintains that the initial strategy of Washington and Tel Aviv seemed to be betting on a rapid operation to provoke regime change in Iran, something that, in his opinion, is not happening. He asserts that Tehran had been preparing for a war scenario for decades and that the conflict could drag on longer than anticipated, with global economic consequences. Among these, he highlights the impact on energy prices, the risk of an international economic crisis, and political tensions within the United States, where the MAGA movement itself is reportedly beginning to fracture over its involvement in a new war.

Furthermore, the analyst emphasizes that rising oil prices could become one of the most decisive factors in the conflict, as a sharp increase in energy prices would have direct effects on inflation and the global economy. In his opinion, Russia would be one of the biggest beneficiaries of this situation due to the rise in crude oil prices, while Europe and the United States could face greater pressure from energy costs. Jalife concludes that the conflict already has a global reach and that, despite the rhetoric from both sides, discreet negotiations are likely taking place behind the scenes to try to halt the escalation.
